AKA Delivery Policy

 

At Harrow House, we are dedicated to ensuring that your order is delivered to you in a timely manner and in excellent condition. We deliver from Monday to Saturday every week with the exception of Sundays and public holidays. To guarantee the safe arrival of your order within the shortest possible time, we collaborate with reputable courier agencies.

 

How we charge

 

Delivery/Shipping charges are calculated based on the type of order (Fresh, Dry or Both), the weight of the products and delivery address. During the checkout process, you will be able to view the applicable shipping charges after you have entered your delivery address.  

 

Deliveries for Fresh & Dry Items based on cities

 

We offer delivery services to all major cities in Sri Lanka. We deliver fresh products however to Colombo and its suburbs only. To confirm if we deliver to your city, please type your City/Town in the “City” part of the delivery address at checkout. If your city is not listed, kindly reach out to us, and we will provide you with information on whether delivery to your city is possible.

 

Delivery Period

 

We dispatch all deliveries once a day. So all orders made before 8:00am will get processed on the same day or will get added to the following day’s delivery. All fresh orders will be delivered within 24 hours. All dry orders will be delivered within 24-72 hours depending on your location. If you have purchased multiple products from both the fresh and dry categories, then the order will be processed according to the Fresh order guidelines.

 

Delivery Attempts

 

It is very important that you give an accurate delivery address and a functioning phone number which is in use, as our delivery partner will attempt to call you when he/she is close to your location. We will make a total of 3 delivery attempts on all dry products and 2 attempts for fresh products. If we fail to deliver the items due to unavailability of persons at the delivery location, we will send the items back to our store at 305 Vauxhall Street, Colombo 2.  Kindly reach out to us in that event, for a refund or pick-up of the order. Please note that in the case of such a pick-up or refund,  the delivery charges will still apply.
